This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to return back the entire 27 original documents as well as the three Xerox copy of the promissory notes and deposits receipts, which are collected from the petitioner's husband Late.Nagarajan on 02.06.2005.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner present.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that on 23.07.2017 a case in Crime No. 871 of 2018, has been registered by the Inspector of Police (Crime), B-3 Kattur Police Station, Coimbatore under Section 406 and the documents which have been mentioned by the petitioner are all find place in the complaint. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Government Advocate submitted that Muthuraja, Inspector of Police, had received those documents from his predecessor one Thangadurai, Inspector of Police, who had received the said documents from Late. Nagarajan and it is admitted by the respondent that in their counter that Muthuraja, Inspector of Police had received the above said documents from his predecessor, but he had failed to keep it in proper custody. For which on 19.06.2018, the Assistant Commissioner of Police has reported for the said act of Muthuraja, Inspector of Police a report has been submitted to the Commissioner of Police vide C.No.45/GENL/AC CRIME(C)/2018.

5. Now, the present Inspector of Police (Crime), B-3, Kattur Police Station is investigating about the missing documents. It is left open to the petitioner to workout her remedy before the appropriate forum, for taking appropriate action based on the above complaint.
