O R D E R

The petitioner made a representation on 22.04.2015 to the respondents seeking transfer of patta for the land situated in Muthanahalli Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District. The said request has been made based upon a patta issued in the name of his grandmother, followed by a Will executed by her in his favour. On receipt of the representation, the office of the District Collector has directed the respondent no.3 to look into the same, take appropriate action and inform the petitioner. As no further action is forthcoming, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, a direction is issued to the respondent no.3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as to 3rd parties, if so required.
