ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint dated 09.02.2015 in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the material placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said complaint of the petitioner was enquired and closed by the respondent police. Hence, the respondent Police is directed to give a copy of the closure report to the petitioner within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under proper acknowledgment.

4.On reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner and the proposed accused are the sister and the brother and that the property in question was allotted to their mother by the Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board. According to the petitioner, she got married and her mother Lakshmi @ Lakshmi Ammal died. After the death of her mother, she is living elsewhere. used to abuse her. Apart from, there is no other allegations in the complaint. Hence, on reading of the complaint, it does not make any cognizable offence warranting a direction to the police to register the FIR.

This Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
