ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the suspension order dated 08.06.2022 issued to the petitioner.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit on instructions that the petitioner will be satisfied if he is allowed to give a fresh representation requesting for revocation of the impugned suspension order dated 08.06.2022, provided the respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law within a short period.

3. The petitioner also contends that he has not been paid his subsistence allowance till date. He also seeks for early conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings to be initiated against him.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the direction sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner as stated supra is issued by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order requesting the respondent to: a) revoke his suspension order dated 08.06.2022 which is impugned in this Writ Petition;

b) pay his subsistence allowance from the date of his suspension; c) conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him within a time frame.

On receipt of the aforementioned representation, the respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. With the aforementioned directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
