J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by N.KIRUBAKARAN, J) The appeal has been filed against the order of the learned Single Judge by which an award passed under the Land Acquisition Act for industrial purposes has been quashed with a direction to the authority to pass an award as per the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30/2013). 2.The learned Single Judge passed the order on 23.02.2018. Subsequently, as per the direction, an award was passed on 20.11.2018. Without noticing the passing of the award, for compliance of the learned Single Judge's order, this Writ Appeal has been filed before this Court. 3.Heard Mr.V.Anandhamoorthy, learned Additional Government Pleader for the appellants Mrs.A.L.Gandhimathi, learned Counsel for the respondent. 4.Since both the Counsel would submit that the order of the learned Single Judge has been complied on 20.11.2018 and the Writ Appeal has become infructuous, this appeal fails and the same is dismissed as infructuous.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
