O R D E R

This petition has been filed to call for the records comprised in Na.Ka.10/DIPS/2019 dated 05.06.2019 on the file of the Respondent and to quash the same as Illegal and Unconstitutional, being violative of Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent to grant permission to conduct the Public Meeting in adjacent to the Old Bus Stand, Seerkazhi on 08.06.2019.

2.The petitioner on instructions submitted that the petitioner has decided to change the purpose of the meeting and have also decided the date, time and venue of the meeting. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner shall give a fresh representation to the respondent police with regard to the meeting proposed to be conducted by the petitioner and it is left open to the respondent police to consider the request in accordance with law and pass necessary orders.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
