ORDER

This petition has been filed to to set aside the order dated 08.04.2025 passed in E.A.No.2 of 2025 in E.P.No.889 of 2023 on the file of XII Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has to find out an alternate premise and he would seek one week time to vacate and hand over the possession to the Page No:1/3

respondent. He also filed an undertaking affidavit dated 29.04.2025 stating that the petitioner undertakes to vacate the premises within a period of one week from 30.04.2025 and further undertakes that the petitioner will not stay any longer after the period of one week.

3. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and recording the undertaking affidavit dated 29.04.2025, this Civil revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to vacate and handover the possession and the keys to the respondent on or before 07.05.2025. It is made clear that the petitioner does not comply with the undertaking, he will be liable for contempt.

4. With the above directions, this Revision petition is disposed of and the undertaking affidavit dated 29.04.2025 shall form part of the order. No costs.
