ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Cr. No.19 of 2016 pending on the file of respondent police within the stipulated period.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of allegation in the FIR, this Court cannot direct the respondent to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent Police is directed to conduct the investigation expeditiously in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
