ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the petitioners, (accused 1 and 3 in Cr.No.16/2012) to call for the records in Cr.No.16/2012 of Economic Offence Wing-II, Anna Nagar- Chennai and quash the same.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would contend that investigation in Cr.No.16/2012 is concluded and the final report in C.C.No.2585/2013 is filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. He would further contend that the case is now posted for cross examination of PW1. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In the facts and circumstances, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. However, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is directed to dispose of the C.C.No.2585/2013 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With this above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
