O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent police to register the FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.09.2020 in CSR.No.143/2020.

2. Heard Mr.P.Surendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police 1 & 2.

3. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that in respect of the complaint dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.09.2020, the enquiry is still pending in CSR.No.143 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police. The said submission is recorded.

4. In view of the above, since the enquiry pending on the file of the second respondent police is still pending, it would appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry within the time as stipulated by this Court.

5. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry in CSR No.143 of 2020 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
