O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents police to register the FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.10.2019.

2. Heard Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police 1 & 2.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though this application has been filed for the direction to direct the second respondent police to register the case, it would suffice to direct him to close the CSR enquiry which was initiated in Na.Ka.No.4298/SPG/SB/2019.

4. In this regard, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police would submit that in respect of the complaint dated 29.10.2019, the first respondent police had initiated enquiry in Na.Ka.No.4298/SPG/SB/2019 and after due enquiry, the same has been closed on 10.09.2020. submission is recorded.

5. Per contra, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the closure report has not been furnished to the petitioner.

6. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of the cases, it would appropriate to give direction to the respondents police to furnish a copy of the closure report in respect of enquiry initiated in Na.Ka.No.4298/SPG/SB/2019 within a period two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
