Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 to 9 had submitted that an original suit had been filed, in O.S.No.274 of 2012, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Gobichettipalayam. It has also been submitted that the respondents 6 to 9 had filed a review petition before the District Collector, Erode, the first respondent herein, challenging the order of the second respondent, dated 16.10.2012.

3. In such circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the review petition filed by the respondents 6 to 9, dated 22.10.2012, if it has not been disposed of till date, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 6 to 9, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
