This petition has been filed by the Accused seeking to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.9/2010 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate-II, Poonamallee.

2. When the matter came up on 18.08.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner and the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "for disposal" on 04.09.2017. On 04.09.2017, when the matter was taken up again, there was no representation for the petitioners and the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "for dismissal" on 14.09.2017.

3. Even today, when the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner. Neither the counsel nor the petitioner appeared. Hence, the petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
