This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to measure the petitioner's land viz., Survey No174/2 to an extent of 80 cents in Jawalagiri Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by disposing of the petitioner's applications dated 19.03.2020 and 08.04.2021 within a time stipulated by this court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by way of registered Sale Deed dated 11.07.1991. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has given applications dated 19.03.2020 and 08.04.2021 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries and to issue patta in his name. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the applications of the petitioner 2/4
dated 19.03.2020 and 08.04.2021 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's applications for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
