Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to admit and register the receipt in respect of the Memorandum of Deposit, if Title Deed Doc.No.4608/2022 assigned with a temporary Number TP/264406316/2026 and grant such orders.

Order With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for following prayer:- For issuance of a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to admit and register the receipt in respect of the Memorandum of Deposit, if Title Deed Doc.No.4608/2022 assigned with a temporary Number TP/264406316/2026 and grant such orders.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has approached the second respondent for registration of a receipt in respect of a Memorandum of Deposit, however, the second respondent refused to register the same, hence, the present Writ Petition.

The learned Government Counsel who takes notice for the respondents1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner may be directed to present the receipt in respect of a Memorandum of Deposit onceagain, which would be accepted by the second respondent and necessary steps would be taken for registration.

Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Counsel for the respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to re-present the document, viz., Receipt in respect of a Memorandum of Deposit for registration before the second respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when, the document is presented for registration, the same shall be accepted by the second respondent and necessary steps shall be taken for registration of the same forthwith without any further hassle.
