O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the third respondent to measure the petitioner's land viz., Survey No.729/1 to an extent of 2 acres and 62 cents in Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District, by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2024 within a time stipulated by this court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 4th respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by way of a registered Gift Deed dated 29.09.2023 and the Revenue authorities also issued manual patta in favour of the petitioner. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner has given a representation on 27.05.2024 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries. However, the same has not been considered by the third respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
