Respondents Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue an order of change of Patta into the petitioner's name from A.Appavu in respect of the property to an extent of 6550Sq.Ft (15 cents) comprised in Survey No.402/3, situated at Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2020. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus, direct the 3rd respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 24.08.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for the change in the revenue records for issuance of the patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Mr.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the 3rd respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 20.10.2020 at 11.30 a.m and the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 3rd respondent has already called the petitioner for preliminary enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the Tahsildar finds that there are any rival claimants, notice shall also be issued to those parties before passing the final orders.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
