Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members residing at NO.10/624, Sector D, 7th Street, Anna Nagar West Extension, Ambattur, Chennai-600 101 against the said Ayesha @ Shivani and C.Kamaraj (3rd and 4th respondent) and his family members life and liberty by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2020.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. When the matter came up for hearing during the last occasion, this Court enquired the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 3 and 4 as to whether any threat was caused to the petitioner. She submitted that no such threat was caused to the petitioner.

3. This Court directed respondents 3 and 4 to appear before the second respondent and give an undertaking that they will not involve in causing any threat to the petitioner and that they will agitate their grievance before the competent Court.

4. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted the letters given by respondents 3 and 4 dated 10.02.2021 undertaking that they will agitate their grievance before the concerned Court.

5. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition and it is made clear that all the issues are left open to be agitated by the parties before the competent court.

6. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
