ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.129 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.129 of 2022, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of six months.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
