ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.09.2020 and take suitable action in respect of the illegal construction being made by the 2nd respondent on land bearing Door No.18, Kattabomman Street, Madampakkam, Chennai 600126.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the property belongs to the petitioner/temple and the 2nd respondent has put up unauthorised construction. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 18.09.2020 to the 1st respondent to stop the illegal construction, but the same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Though notice was served, there was no representation for the 2nd respondent.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 would submit that, on inspection, it was found that the 2nd respondent has put up unauthorised construction in the temple land and it comes within the limit of Tambaram Corporation. He further submitted that, the first respondent had initiated action and they will complete the proceedings within a period of four(4) weeks.

5. Considering the above submission, the first respondent is directed to take appropriate action by giving opportunity to all the parties concerned and complete the proceedings, within a period of four(4) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
