O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to comply the direction of the 2nd respondent as per letter dated 29.03.2016 with regard to survey of the land measuring to an extent of 0.50 cents out of 1.95 acre in Survey No.120/1 in Nedungunam Village, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and issue a fresh Patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. Though notice was ordered to the fourth respondent, it seems that she has refused to receive the said notice.

3. The petitioner seeks for survey of the land and consequently, grant of patta in his favour in respect of the subject matter land, by considering his representation dated 14.06.2011. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2011 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
