ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a directon to the respondent to file the charge sheet pursuant to the FIR No.1100 of 2016 dated 07.05.2016 on the file of the respondent police before the Court that has jurisdiction to try the offence against the accused persons within a stipulated time framed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.1100 of 2016 has been registered and is being investigated by the respondent police.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
