PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioners in respect of Natham Land comprised in T.S.No.4 and 5 measuring an extent of 51 cents situated at Nagireddy Garden extension Ekattuthangal Chennai 600 032.

Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider their representation dated 11.09.2017, wherein and whereby they sought for issuance of patta in their favour, in respect of Natham Land, comprised in T.S.No.4 and 5, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

measuring to an extent of 51 cents situated at Nagireddy Garden Extension, Ekattuthangal, Chennai 600 032.

4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that their request was not considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 11.09.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
