O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the proposal dated 04.09.2017 submitted by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No. 835/2014/E1 and regularise the services of the petitioner from the date of his promotion viz.25.08.1999 as Electrician Grade-I, with all consequential and monetary benefits.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides and perused the materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Helper on 30.03.1990 in the 4th respondent Municipality being sponsored through employment exchange. On 25.08.1999, he was promoted as Electrician Grade-I and his scale of pay for the said promotional post was fixed by the 4th respondent on 07.02.2017.

Thereafter, a proposal was sent by the 4th respondent on 04.09.2017 to the 1st respondent recommending the petitioner's case for regularisation for the said promotional post. Since the same was not considered yet, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the pending proposal sent by the 4th respondent on 04.09.2017 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
