The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take action, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2017.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has made a representation to the respondent 1 to 4 herein against one Chandrasekaran and his wife C.Krishnaveni alleging that the said two person have availed agricultural loans by producing fabricated title documents. Since no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner has preferred this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider his representation.
3. The learned Government Pleaders appearing for the respondent/Department as well as Society submitted that the Deputy Registrar of the Co-operative Societies/2nd respondent herein is the competent authority to consider the allegations made against the aforesaid two persons.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits, in accordance with law, after providing opportunities to the petitioner and also to any interested parties as expeditiously as possible, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
