Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to furnish entire information on acquisition proceedings, if any for Plot Nos.555 & 572 in Survey Nos.413/12 & 413/2 respectively Santha Velur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District along with connected orders and other relevant information, within a date to be specified by this Hon'ble Court. Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to furnish entire information on acquisition proceedings, if any, for Plot Nos.555 & 572 in Survey Nos.413/12 & 413/2 respectively, Santha Velur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District along with connected orders and other relevant information.

It is seen that the petitioner sought some information from the respondent with regard to the land which he has purchased as to whether those lands are subject matter of any acquisition proceedings. The said information sought for by the petitioner, through his counsel dated 06.06.2016, has not been either furnished or suitably replied. Therefore, the petitioner filed the present writ petition and seeks the above stated relief.
5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the said request of the petitioner made through his counsel and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
