Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respndent in connection with the impugned order passed in G.O. (2D) No.423 Revenue (Services 2(1) Department dated 16.11.11 and G.O.(2D) No.273 Revenue (Services 2(3)) Department dated 27.3.14 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to superannuate the petitioner from service and grant such other further relief as this Honourable court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

The petitioner was placed under suspension on the verge of his retirement pending initiation of disciplinary proceedings. It is the case of the petitioner that the first respondent thereafter initiated proceedings.

The enquiry officer submitted his report. The Government is now seized of the matter.

2. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that the disciplinary authority forwarded a copy of the final report to the petitioner on 28.02.2015. The petitioner is in the process of submitting his explanation pursuant to the second show cause notice.

3. The petitioner is directed to submit his explanation within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the proceedings initiated against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of reply to the show cause notice.
