By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner on an earlier occasion approached this Court by filing W.P.No.30993 of 2015 stating that in respect of the land in S.No.408/11, Patta No.12 situated in Door No.4/74A, Devakaranpatti, Irayankaadumadura, Anaikatt Taluk, Vellore District, the earlier measurement was not done correctly and as a result, the exact measurement of the land owned by the petitioner was lesser in extent. This Court vide

order dated 01.10.2015 has disposed of the writ petition, directing the 4th respondent viz, the Tahsildar, Vellore District, Vellore to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2015 within a stipulated time frame. Accordingly, the 4th respondent, after conducting enquiry, resurveyed the land and issued the field map. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that it is not in consonance with the patta as well as the sketch connected to the said patta and in this regard, filed an appeal to the District Revenue Officer and also submitted a representation dated 17.03.2016 to the respondents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.D.Gopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prays for the larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit a representation/appeal to the third respondent along with the copy of this order as well as the copy of his earlier representation dated 17.03.2016 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the third respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the same in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a further period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
