This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent police to investigate the complaint dated 22.07.2020 and register the FIR.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner had given a complaint on 13.07.2020, against her husband and his family members for mentally harassing her and not providing medical expenses to her. Based on her complaint, enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.84 of 2020 and it was closed during the year 2021. Further, on receiving the petition from the petitioner, enquiry was reopened on 06.09.2021 and the parties were appeared before the respondent and the proposed accused/husband had agreed to pay the medical expenses of the petitioner and compromise was arrived between them. Based on that, the complaint has been closed. 2/4
