This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 3rd respondents to grant patta for her house site to an extent of 1600 sq.ft. situtated in S.No.73/1A, Ottiyambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, present Tambaram Taluk, Chennai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she purchased a house site on 28.02.2014 to an extent of 1600 sq.ft. situtated in S.No.73/1A, Ottiyambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, present Tambaram Taluk, Chennai, vide document No.2231 of 2014, based on which, she made a representation to the respondents on 11.03.2024, for grant of patta. Since no action has been taken by the respondents on the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief. 2/4
4. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
