ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a limited relief.
2. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2026 pending on the file of the first respondent. Aggrieved by the order of the second respondent dated 27.02.2026, the aforesaid appeal dated 25.03.2026 has been filed by the petitioner before the first respondent.
3. Mr. R. P. Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2026 is directed to be disposed of by the first respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
5. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth and fifth respondents, notice to the fourth and fifth respondents is dispensed with by this Court.
6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2026.
7. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that subsequent to the passing of the impugned order dated 27.02.2026 by the second respondent, the second respondent has mutated the revenue records. Therefore, he seeks for grant of interim stay by this Court in respect of further mutation of the revenue records by the respondents. When an appeal has been filed, the interest of the petitioner has to be protected, pending disposal of the appeal.

For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 25.03.2026 filed by the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by adhering to the principles of natural justice after hearing the objections of the fourth and fifth respondents as well as any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire. Till final orders are passed by the first respondent, the respondents shall maintain status quo and shall not
mutate the revenue records any further pending disposal of the appeal. No Costs.
