ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking orders on the respondents to remove the encroachment made by the 5th respondent in Moongil lake at Velagoundanoor Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District, upon consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2017.

2. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, we direct the respondent nos.2, 3 and 4, i.e., Thasildar, Block Development Officer and Revenue Inspector, to jointly cause a local inspection of the area in question, i.e., the Moongil Lake area at Velagoundanoor Village, Omalur Taluk, within a fortnight.

If any encroachment is found, the official respondents shall take action in accordance with law for removal of the encroachments, after putting on notice all concerned, particularly respondent No.5 before us, and conclude the proceedings within two months from the date of inspection.
