Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2014 on the request for the payment of retirement benefits to the petitioner with 20% interest from the date of retirement i.e., on 31.07.2003.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 12.09.2014.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a retired Cashier and he retired from the first respondent on 31.07.2003. He made representation dated 12.09.2014 to the respondents seeking retirement benefits and since there was no response, has filed this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent fairly submitted that the first respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.09.2014, if not already considered, on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2014, if not already considered and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
