Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in Proceedings Na.Ka.No.502/2017/gp,4/dt.28.08.2017 and to quash the same and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to give the copy of the appointment order of the 3rd respondent for the post of Noon Meal Organizer, R.C.Aided Primary School, Illodu Village, Villupuram District to the petitioner herein. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings of the Public Information Officer in refusing to furnish certain information sought for by the petitioner, under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

4. As against the said proceedings, the petitioner is having a statutory Appellate remedy to file an appeal before the First Appellate Authority. Therefore, the petitioner is not justified in approaching this Court and filing the present writ petition, challenging the said order. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority by filing a statutory appeal, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
