O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) In this writ petition, the writ petitioner has sought orders of this Court directing the second respondent, that is, the Collector of Chennai, to dispose of his representation dated 22.09.2017. The representation is apparently directed against encroachments on the bank of Thamarai lake at T.S.No.99, Block No.53, Kolathur Village. According to the petitioner, the encroachments are causing pollution and environmental degradation.

2.After hearing the respective parties, we direct the Thasildar concerned to take a decision on the representation in accordance with law within two (2) months from the date of communication of this order.
