PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Proc.No. MMC/A1/F300/ 2026 dated 16.04.2026 and quash the same as illegal and incompetent and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue in occupation of Godown No. E-88, Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex, Chennai.

W.M.P.No.16947 of 2026 filed seeking permission to the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are sub-tenants and on instructions, he would submit that the petitioners is willing to vacate the premises within a period of three weeks from today. He has made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.
3.Learned counsel for the respondents has also not raised any serious objection with regard to the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
4.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioners to vacate the premises within a period of three weeks from today. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
