Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondent to conduct the election to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry under the supervision of the one or more JudgeCommissioner's appointed by this Hon'ble Court as it was

done in previous Election held in the year 2011 and consequently frame a scheme to be carried out for free and fair election so as to enable the election process of Tamil Nadu Bar Council and Puducherry absolutely free from bribery, corruption and any other election malpractice.

ORDER

(Made by Ms.Indira Banerjee, Chief Justice) It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the writ petition has become infructuous, as the election to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry was completed on 28.03.2018.

2. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, WMP.Nos.1737 & 1738 of 2018 are closed.
