ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 7, 7A, 12 of Prevention of Corruption (amendment) Act, 2018 and 120B of IPC in Cr.No.08 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have received a sum of Rs.1 Crore from the defacto complainant inorder to get lighting work contract for the defacto complainant and thereafter cheated him.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that she has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that earlier, the petitioner approached this Court by filing Crl.O.P.Nos.6710 and 12650 of 2021 and this Court has dismissed the said petitions.

5.Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner that she being the Joint Chief Engineer (now under suspension) in the Highways Department, has received a sum of Rs.1 Crore from the defacto complainant as bribe and since there is no change in circumstances subsequent to the order passed in Crl.O.P.Nos.6710 and 12650 of 2021, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
