ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7931 of 2026 dated 30.03.2026, by which this Court directed the petitioner to report before the respondent police at 10.30 am., for a period of two months and also to surrender his Passport before the respondent police.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is involved in several cases in various States and, therefore, it is impossible for him to appear before the respondent police as directed. However, this Court is not inclined to accept the petitioner's contention, as the investigation is still in progress. If the petitioner is exempted from appearing before the respondent police, it may adversely affect the investigation and hamper the prosecution. Hence, the request for modification of the condition requiring the petitioner to sign before the respondent police is dismissed.
3. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner has already submitted his Passport at the Telangana Police Station, as stated in paragraph No.4 of the petition. However, the petitioner has not produced any records or documents to substantiate such deposit. Therefore, this Court finds no merits in the application. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
