ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to give necessary direction to the respondent to register the complaint dated 07-12-2014 alleged to have been given by the petitioner. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present.

It is averred in the petition that the petitioner, as defacto complainant, has given a complaint dated 07-12-2014, wherein it has been specifically stated that the persons mentioned therein have caused damaged to the house of the petitioner. But the respondent has not registered the same. Under the said circumstances, the present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

Considering the nature of relief sought for in the petition and also the nature of allegations made in the complaint dated 07-12-2014, the following direction can be given to the respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The respondent is strictly directed to look into the complaint dated 07-12-2014 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
