The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 14.07.2017 and permit the petitioner to operate bunk shop at a place opposite to H-16 Block, Kotturpuram, Chennai. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The petitioner claims to be a divorcee living with her mother and four other sisters. It is stated that the petitioner is running a bunk shop opposite to H-16 Block, Kotturpuram and the fourth respondent is frequently disturbing the petitioner from running the bunk shop. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents requesting them to permit the petitioner to run the bunk shop in the above said place. It is stated that the said representation was sent on 14.07.2017 and the same has not been considered so far.

4.Learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent Corporation submitted that there is a Committee called Vending Committee, which will consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders by considering all the facts and circumstances. Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the fifth respondent, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the fifth respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
