O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to issue a fresh mark list showing both theory and internal marks to the petitioner relating to English paper of Plus Two Course written by him in September 2018 and March 2019 as having passed the exams and to issue a fresh mark list.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he has studied in Ramasami Chettiar Town Higher Secondary School, Chidambaram in the year 1982 and he has failed in English language. Thereafter, he did not pursue his education further. However, in the year 2018, the Government issued a G.O.Ms.118, dated 09.06.2018 to give the benefit to the old students for appearing the examination. Accordingly, the petitioner has appeared the examination and he was given the mark list reflecting only theory marks and omitted the internal marks entirely. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition seeking to issue fresh mark list showing both theory and internal marks.
3. Ms.V.Annalakshmi learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that fresh mark list will be issued in favour of the petitioner with the details of marks secured by him at the time of examination within a period of two weeks. Accordingly, she prayed to pass appropriate orders.
4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondents to issue a fresh mark list with a details of both theory as well as internal marks obtained by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
