Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith appoint the aforesaid five persons viz.,1.T.Varadharajan, 2.A.Venkatesan, 3.P.V.Chennakrishnan, 4.Perumal Chettiyar and 5.K.Mani as non-hereditary-trustee for the proper management and administration of the Arulmighu Chennakesava Perumalswamy, Govindaraja Perumalswamy, Vinayagarswamy, Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple and Mankundrumalai, Perampattu Village, Thirupattur Taluk and District as per the order dated 08.11.2012 in O.A.No.10 of 2012 on the file of Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Vellore and grant such other relief deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.

Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, this writ petition is being disposed of at the time of admission, after dispensing with the requirement to Page No. 2 of 5
file a counter, based on the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents stating that pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 22.04.2022, a notification was issued inviting the applicants for filling up the post of the Non-Hereditary Trustees in terms of the scheme decree in O.A.No.10 of 2012 dated 08.11.2012.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents further submits that in response, a notification bearing Na.Ka.No.2568/2022/Aa2 was issued on 06.05.2022 and about 5 different applications have been received as on 03.06.2022 and these applications are being scrutinized and the respondents would require atleast twelve weeks to complete the proceedings.
4. Based on the instructions given by the second respondent to the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents bearing Ref.Na.Ka.No.4248/2022/Aa1 dated 29.06.2022, the respondents are directed to complete the proceedings within a period of twelve weeks for appointing the non-hereditary trustees.

5. The status quo as on date shall continue till such appointments are made.
