Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate Criminal Side had produced the copy of the additional charge sheet filed by the first respondent which is yet to be taken on file by the concerned Court. From a perusal of the same, it could be seen that the petitioner herein had been transposed as the witness and charge sheet filed against some other six accused persons.

2. In view of the same, there is no purpose in adjudicating the present petition which had been sought to quash the original charge sheet that had been filed by the Central Crime Branch, Egmore. A perusal of the present charge sheet has filed by the first respondent also not indicating any overtact against the petitioner herein.

3. Hence, no further adjudication is required to be made in the present petition as no charges have been framed against the petitioner and accordingly, Crl.O.P.No.15821 of 2022 is closed. The learned Magistrate shall expedite to proceed further with the additional charge sheet. Consequently connected M.Ps are closed.
