Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Thirai Esai Katchery (Music Cultural Program) scheduled to be held on 28.07.2017 on the event of Arulmighu Throupathy Amman Temple Festival situate at Erumbur Village, Bhuvanagiri Taluk, Cuddalore District, based on his representation dated 18.07.2017 to conduct the festival.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondent on 18.07.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 28.07.2017 the respondent has not passed orders till today.

4.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of

the same.

5.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 27.07.2017.
