O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and the workers, who are all involved in the activities of dismantling the machinery from M/s.V.R.Textiles Private Limited.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that they advanced Rs.1,05,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Five Lakhs Only) to V.R.Textiles Private Limited and the said V.R.Textiles Private Ltd., permitted the petitioner to take custody of Autoconer Polar Model 2009 make with 64 drums Machine No.231.016.09. When the petitioner went to V.R.Textiles Private Ltd., to take possession of the property, they were prevented by the security guard. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint to the police and has filed the present petition seeking police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry was conducted in C.No.29/K1PS/II/2016 dated 29.05.2016 by the second respondent and during enquiry, it came to light that the said machine was hypothecated to Punjab National Bank. Therefore, the petition enquiry was closed.

4. In view of the above submission, the prayer sought by the petitioner seeking police protection for removing the machine cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is closed. Sd/- Deputy Registrar(CS) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar mk To 1.
