Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioners seek for mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 02.05.2016, followed by subsequent applications, wherein and whereby, they sought for issuance of joint patta in their favour in respect of the subject matter property.
4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 02.05.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
