Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuant to the impugned order of termination passed by the first respondent in Proc.Na.Ka.No.4332/A/(1)/2002 dated 31.10.2002 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with full backwages and other consequential service benefits. ORDER

When the matter was taken up, Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, placing on record the proceedings in Rc.No.358/A/2015 dated 6.2.2015 issued by the District Library Officer, Thiruvannamalai, submitted that the writ petitioner-Mrs.G.Jothilakshmi had expired on 23.12.2013 and in support of the said statement, he has also enclosed the copy of the death certificate showing her death on the said date. A copy of the said proceeding was also served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner.
