Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai, in O.A.No.295 of 2025 dated 15.04.2025 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the second respondent to consider and appoint the petitioner to the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) on the basis of the notification issued on 11.03.2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) Since the Central Administrative Tribunal had not considered the interim relief sought for by the petitioner herein for him to participate in the written examination, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. By way of an interim order dated 25.04.2025, we had directed the respondents to permit the petitioner to write the written examination scheduled to be held on 11.05.2025, with a rider that a mere participation of the petitioner in the selection process will not give him any right to claim any other benefit for the purpose of selection.

3. It is now brought to our notice that the written examination that was earlier scheduled to be held on 11.05.2025, has been postponed to 08.06.2025.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents would comply with the interim order passed by this Court on 25.04.2025.

5. Hence, we are of the view that the petitioner can redress all his grievances in the main Original Application, which is pending in O.A.No.310/00295/2025 before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench.
