This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to record the further statement of the petitioner, who is the de facto complainant in this case.

2. It is seen from records that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an FIR was registered by the 2nd respondent in Cr.No.41 of 2019 for an offence u/s 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) of IPC. Initially, a statement was recorded from the petitioner. The petitioner wants to give further statement in this case before the Investigating Officer. Original Petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4.The Investigating Officer shall proceed to record the further statement from the petitioner in the course of investigation. By doing so, it will only help the progress of the investigation and no prejudice will be caused to anyone. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
